We were so incredibly lucky to have worked with Becky and her team for our wedding! The week after I got engaged my first call was to Becky – after our first meeting I knew we didn't need to look around for other planners. From her warmth the minute you meet her, to her creative ideas, quick and transparent communication, and of course connections in the industry – Becky was everything you need in a planner and friend. We worked with Becky on an intermediate level of planning support. I was excited to plan the overall vision of the day but certainly needed help getting vendors secured, contracts reviewed, and someone who could help me think big about our event. Over the course of the year and a half we planned together, Becky helped keep me on track and single handedly secured most of our vendors – especially the daunting task of following up for contract signatures, payment information, and confirmations – it's crazy that you have to follow up multiple times just to give someone your money but alas. Being a marketer – I treated this wedding as if it were a work event I was planning. Becky helped me dream big and when we got to talking we brainstormed the most fun ideas, then was there to help me reel in and prioritize because my budget wasn't like the ones at work 😂She also was a sound listener and did an amazing job of giving enough of an opinion to make me think, but never enough to make me feel like I had to make a decision one way because she liked it – I always felt like every decision was mine and mine only, with the help of an expert who knew the industry. As life happens during the year and a half of us working together, Becky was so quick to communicate when she was running late to a call or when she needed to reschedule something, never leaving me wondering where she was at. Likewise via email, if she wasn't able to respond to something right away she still let me know she received it whether through quick text or email, which was super important to me and helped me set my expectations on when to hear back from her. The day of the wedding... I mean wow. We were truly blown away by her preparedness first of all. The things Becky has in her bag will blow your mind. We joked we wanted ice packs to cool down after the Second Line and what do you know... Becky pulls out ice packs. Other than essentially being wedding planner Mary Poppins – it was truly an honor to watch Becky work our wedding. She led our wedding party with authority but grace, not one thing went wrong (that we know of 😉) and when we asked questions like "Can we have cake back at our hotel room?" or "Did you send our XYZ back to the room?" we were met with "It's already there and waiting for you." I can't even begin to explain how much of an asset Becky was to this whole process. Of course her team (Shoutout Julia!!) is also a huge reason why Becky is the force she is – but we could not have been more thankful to have Becky on our side for this day. Thank you Becky for everything you have done for us. We love you and will miss our time together!

Becky Lampp is the patron saint of weddings. In a good year, weddings are overwhelming to plan and you can be certain something will go wrong. Multiple that by one thousand during a pandemic. No one could’ve predicted in September 2019 (when we signed our contract with Spanish Oak Events) how the next year would unfold, and I’m confident the only reason we were able to continue with our wedding as planned was because of Becky’s guidance. As an out-of-state bride, having a local expert to recommend and coordinate with vendors was incredible. As an out-of-state COVID-19 bride, having insight into how things were progressing and how regulations were enforced, and what the reopening timeline looked like, and more, were the only things that kept us from cancelling. She gave us priceless information so we could choose the best path forward for us, and she fully supported us and our wishes every step of the way. She also helped us renegotiate several contracts, saving us money while simultaneously upgrading our wedding. It was a joy to collaborate with her on the design of our wedding and when the big day finally arrived, it was the most gorgeous event I’ve ever been to and we had a BLAST. I wish I could go back in time and relive it all over again. Notably, I don’t regret a single penny spent - Becky gave us tons of amazing ideas and helped us decide where to invest vs. save so our big day was stunning and within budget. She cares more about her clients more than anyone else I’ve ever met. She’s warm, supportive, attentive to detail, funny, and your ally in planning the perfect celebration. Spanish Oak Events was recommended to me by a bride in a Facebook group who WISHED she hired Becky! I’m so glad I took that bride’s advice, and if you’re reading this, hope you do the same.

I couldn't have lucked out with a better wedding planner than Becky Lampp of Spanish Oak Events. She is simply the best! My husband and I are from Washington, DC, so this was a destination wedding for us. We'd interviewed a few other planners before deciding on Spanish Oak Events and Becky was the only one who was excited about bringing our OWN vision to life, and she did so with warmth, enthusiasm, and a positive spirit! From the start, she worked within our budget and brought us excellent vendor choices to see our grandiose Gatsby themed wedding through! She went above and beyond for us, even lending an ear to get us past some of those stressful moments that come with wedding planning. <3 From start to finish, she kept us informed and on track every step of the way. She has developed great relationships with top vendors in NOLA, which made the process even that much more enjoyable. She even had a ride waiting for my mother and I when we visited for my tasting. The day of the wedding, we ran into a few logistical hiccups because it rained, but Becky handled everything with ease. We never saw her flustered! :) And, everyone is still raving about how wonderful everything turned out; Becky is pretty much part of the family now! We love Becky and Spanish Oak Events because she listens, she's professional, and she thinks outside the box. Whatever she needs to do to make YOUR vision come to life, she will do. I wish I could give Becky a 10 out of 5 stars. She and her team were absolutely incredible! My husband and I were both from out of town and this was a destination wedding, plus it was a complex multi-day Indian wedding so we had a lot going on and Becky handled everything with competence and a smile. No task was too big or too small. Although we hired her for weekend-of support, she got very involved about two months out to make sure she was completely familiar with all of our vendors and our schedule. She helped fill in the gaps in our schedule to ensure it was extremely detailed and helped us find additional vendors whom we had not yet booked. She was in contact with all vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding and during the weekend-of to ensure everyone was aware of the schedule, last minute changes, etc. and this meant we didn't have to worry about our vendors at all and could just focus on celebrating with our family and friends. Many small things that were out of our control went wrong (as they always do) - examples include unusually cold weather in New Orleans during the weekend and the police not showing up for our 2nd line parade even though we had a permit, and she was did whatever it took to make sure none of these challenges posed a problem to us or our guests. We didn't even know about the police issue until after the wedding! She brought additional staff with her during the wedding day to make sure everything was as smooth as possible (and did not charge us extra for this extra help). She was extremely easy to talk to, always available, highly responsive and so pleasant! Lastly, she is also very reasonably priced, especially for how much she above and beyond she goes for every detail and every request. I know my mom (mother-of-the-bride) was extremely pleased as well!

This review is LONG overdue! But LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE BEST WEDDING PLANNER! Becky was everything and more for our special day. I am a very detail oriented, decisive person and my mind works in a checklist. Throughout the planning process she matched that style and was above and beyond in her recommendations, her communication, and getting everything in order. She’s the perfect blend of extremely nice/warm, decisive, actionable, and graceful. We were an out of town couple from Texas and as you can imagine was quite stressful. Even though the nerves were still there and I was wary of the day of (all brides will tell you there’s something that goes wrong!). Not a thing went wrong!!!! In fact if I remember correctly, there was a potential issue w a water line that could’ve impacted the plumbing. This was found out just moments before my walk down the aisle and I never knew a thing! Her team handled it perfectly and nothing was impacted. Throughout the night she kept on schedule and her sweet husband made sure no family member or ourselves didn’t have a drink in hand. After the evening, they came back to our hotel and brought all of our things and goodies and even some leftovers from the night to snack on!! Becky is impeccable at her job and worth every penny - perhaps should even charge more! :-P We had a huge amount of guests that had never been to New Orleans and still to this day people RAVE on and on about how it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended in their life. They even will say this while we are at others weddings! But for that many to keep that compliment and memory of our day even a year later attests to Becky’s work and planning. Becky if you see this, know you and your husband will always have a special place in our hearts for making our day the best day ever. And for forever making our wedding the best and most fun amongst all our friends and family!

It was love at first call... We knew instantly from the first 5 minute call with Becky and Spanish Oak Events that she was our planner. Instantly, it was like we knew her forever, and we could trust her with the biggest day of our lives. We were a couple from NYC and was planning a wedding for over 100 guests all of which would be traveling to a city that most have never been. Though I have experience doing events in NYC, I was certainly a fish out of water in NOLA. We traveled to NOLA over a long weekend to meet Becky and plan our wedding together. We came in tow with my Italian Mother, dad, and sister (MOH) and all their opinions :). The moment we met Beck face to face she presented us with a welcome bag filled with itineraries for the weekend, macrons, and her confidence that she would be by our side the whole way through. In one weekend we saw over a dozen Venues, 2 cake tastings, 2 bands, a full catering tasting and two florists. She was indeed with us every step of the way. Each morning began with her and her smile in our hotel lobby, and each evening ended with her dropping us off there. She took the time to really get to know us, learn what our aesthetic was and offer suggestions and solutions to our vision we would not think of. By the end of the weekend we pretty much had our Wedding planned and cued up ready to go. The next year we would talk to Becky almost daily for informal check ins, but also formal weekly calls. When things got rough... which they always do when planning wedding let alone a destination wedding, she was there to represent us, but also calm us down when needed. Without a doubt Becky put her entire self into our wedding. We felt often we are her only clients, only surprised to learn we weren't when we saw her celebrating her other couples on Instagram :) . Becky was with us from our first call until the sparkler send off at the end or our wedding and beyond. My only regret is that I plan to get married only once and I won't be able to use her again for my next wedding. They say a wedding planner is the gift you give yourself when getting married, and those words could not be Truer. Becky was the gift that kept on giving. Though Becky is the face and muscle behind Spanish oak Events, her team are just as incredible and confident as she is. Spanish Oaks is not just our wedding planner they are our family!!!!!

I mean..do you know what uplighting is?!? Me either. That is why you need Becky Lampp! This review will not come close to the full scope of praise I have for Spanish Oak Events. I got married about 6 months ago, and 3 weeks prior to that date, our venue decided to put a ban on bands and become altogether impossible to work with. Becky immediately began work on finding a replacement venue that was able to accommodate all of our previously contracted vendors, negotiate pricing within our budget, and open their doors to us on such short notice. The result was an amazing and beautiful day that we will not soon forget!! I would urge anyone on the fence considering adding a wedding coordinator to the planning process to schedule a phone conversation with Becky for the following reasons: 1. She is a consummate professional throughout the entire process, and is able to navigate lots of personalities during a highly charged event. 2. She returns texts/calls promptly, and always has a workable answer to questions. 3. She has a vast local network of vendors at all price points (who all have great things to say about her), and is able to obtain quotes at lightning speed. 4. Rather than guesswork, she employs computer programs to determine spacial layouts of venues so that you can specifically design ceremony and reception layouts (and order the perfect amount of tables, chairs...). 5. She will provide her professional opinion on all topics wedding related, but ultimately respect your wishes and vision for your DAY. 6. And lastly, she continues to be very encouraging and positive throughout the whole process with thank you notes, a cute pre-wedding gift, and post-wedding compliments. Hiring Becky Lampp and her team was the best decision we made during this entire wedding process. Becky is the best of the best and we would HIGHLY recommend her. On every call, she was organized and always thought of things we didn’t – she thinks of the details and logistics. As a Brooklyn-based couple planning a wedding in New Orleans, we needed an organized person on the ground who knew the best vendors and who could handle a wedding of 240 people and 19+ vendors and Becky delivered. She knows the best vendors in the business and has a great reputation and working relationship with each of them. She also has an eye for design and our ceremony and reception looked beautiful in large part because of her. As an LGBT couple, she made sure to surround us with accepting vendors and had creative ideas about the structure for a non-traditional wedding. On our wedding day, Becky was calm, organized, kind and positive. She made sure we were always taken care of, on schedule and low stress. At the reception, her team made sure both of us and our parents always had a drink in our hands. Our parents were very impressed with her and her team and we could not have done this process without her. My wife still says this was the best money we ever spent. On a personal note, Becky and her husband Tom, who worked with her, are wonderful and kind people who will literally invite you into their home. We consider them friends and cannot recommend them more. They are truly the best of the best.

There are wedding planners, and then there is Becky who is just a kick-a** wedding superhero. Hiring Becky and her team was the best decision we ever made for our destination (and then turned COVID) Hindu & Christian fusion two-day wedding. Becky always displayed professionalism, became our confidante and trusted advisor in any wedding planning questions, and even someone just to vent to when things got stressful or laugh with when things got truly absurd. We were incredibly lucky and thankful to have found Becky to help plan our destination fusion wedding in New Orleans (we were in NYC), little did we know COVID-19 would hit two weeks before our wedding date. We had to postpone and significantly change plans, but our wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to Becky, and it was no simple feat with new safety precautions and constantly changing government regulations. With almost a year and a half of wedding planning, we had planned our two days of events down to the minute. Once COVID hit and we had to postpone, Becky was by our side as we dealt with daily updates, unexpected twists and turns, and dozens of changes leading up to the new weekend 4 months later. We had Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, and then Plan Z due to the ever-changing state, city, and vendor policies, and Becky was always a step ahead anticipating our next move. Thanks to Becky our wedding went off without a hitch and was absolutely beautiful, and our wedding guests didn't even realize that one week before our new date we had to change wedding venues, our entire design plan (which took us several months to create based on the old venue), AND sign new bartenders and caterers (with an entirely different menu) just days before the rescheduled date. With everything changing around us, one thing was constant - Becky's ability to pull off this wedding, and our full trust in her incredibly capable hands never wavered. Not only did she put us at ease, she even managed to make the incredibly stressful COVID-wedding planning process fun! Pre-COVID and during, Becky worked tirelessly on our wedding and managed to help us while also juggling her other frantic clients with such ease, grace, and a sense of calm. She managed to handle the entire situation with true candor and professionalism while connecting and managing all of our vendors. Not only did Becky exceed any and all expectations, every person who attended our micro-wedding got to know her and loved her, they even wished they would have had her for their own wedding! There are no words for Becky, hire her - as she is simply one of the best wedding planners. I'm still amazed that we did it, and we can’t thank Becky and her team enough!!
